Hello Parents-
The first two weekends went really well. A big “thank you” to all parents! It seemed to flow very smoothly.
I was able to get everyone into their ADM group. Here is a breakdown of your athlete will be placed, as discussed in the Parent Meetings a couple weeks back:
**A sticker was placed on the top of each athlete’s helmet. It was either yellow, green or red.
ADM Blue Group (yellow sticker)
Ø This group will skate on Saturdays from 9:30 – 10:20am and Sundays from 12:30 – 1:20pm
ADM White Group (green sticker)
Ø This group will skate on Saturdays from 10:30 – 11:20am and Sundays from 1:30 – 2:20pm
ADM Red Group (red sticker)
Ø This group will skate on Saturdays from 11:45 – 12:30pm and Sundays from 2:45 – 3:30pm
**These times will stay true unless we’re skating over at the Pond as discussed during the Parent Meetings.
**Also, please remember that I likely will be changing athletes from group to group depending on their overall progression.
**I will also be posting this online at www.oronohockey.org under the Teams tab and then click on ADM.
Please let me know of any questions?
Thanks,
Steve Krampf
OYHA ADM Director
Orono youth hockey is excited to continue with USA Hockey's American Development Model (ADM) program in 2011-12 for the 4-9 year old age group (hockey levels below squirt/10U). We received great feedback from both players and parents of our adoption of ADM in the 2010-11 year.
The ADM model was developed and supported by NHL/college coaches and players. The model focuses on skill development, maximizing player ice time/puck touches, and keeping hockey fun.
For more information on ADM feel free to visit www.admkids.com We will have Parent informational meetings scheduled soon in the October time frame before the season starts. If you have any other questions about ADM before them, feel free to contact Steve Krampf, OYHA ADM Coordinator at 952-449-6090 or at arenamanager@oronohockey.org
