Our U8 Girls have the opportunity to skate with the varsity girls during a game. An official youth night is being organized for Tuesday, January 17th
when our varsity girls host Princeton. All U8 girls who are able to participate will skate between the 1st and 2nd periods. Once we get a count on
how many girls are able to participate, the girls will be divided into two teams and will each be able to skate about 2 shifts of 1 minute.
The varsity girls will create a tunnel of sticks for the youth girls to enter the ice. They will remain on the ice to cheer them on during the event
and then high give them off the ice.
They are also planning to hand out 150 Orono Hockey wristbands to all participants as well as any other youth hockey player who attends the game
wearing their youth jersey. They are hoping to fill the stands for the event to cheer on and support our varsity girls team. They are enjoying a great
start to their season and they, as well as the U8 girls, would really enjoy an arena full of cheering fans.
The youth will be allowed free entrance to the game if wearing a jersey (up to 3 youth/paid adult). We hope to create a memorable experience for
everyone.
A note to parents: We will need a couple of coaches to be on the ice with the girls and one on each bench to help with the door. Todd will be out
of town during this time.
PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK ASAP TO LET ME KNOW IF YOUR DAUGHTER IS ABLE TO SKATE DURING THIS TIME SO WE CAN PASS ON THE
LIST OF NAMES TO THE ORGANIZERS.

We have had a few questions on the holiday break.
The next U8 game for both teams is Sunday, January 8th at Orono.
Team #1 (Ryskamp) plays at 3:45
Team #2 (Eberhardt) plays at 5:00
I know Ohrt and Hansen for Team #2 are gone. If anyone else has a conflict, please let your coach and I know.
For those of you playing Hat Trick on Mondays, the next session will be January 2nd.
ADM sessions will be January 7th and 8th.
