Fall Face Off
Friday, November 4th, 2011
Lafayette Club
REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 6:30PM
It is time to kick off the 2011-2012 season with the Fall Face Off. As many of you know this is a great time to get back together with old friends and a great opportunity to meet new ones and welcome our new families to the Orono Hockey Family.
The Fall Face Off is held each year as a kick off to the hockey season. It is also the largest fundraiser that our association does and helps to raise money for additional skills, keeping our fees down, paid coaches at our higher levels and many other great things that help to make our association a great place for our kids to play hockey.
We could not make the Fall Face Off a success without the great families that call Orono Youth Hockey their home. If you are interested in any of the following please let us know.
Thank you for your support of OYH,
The Fall Face Off Committee
Shawn Austed, Beth Anderson, Barb Anderson, Michelle Mesenburg, Kelly Eiss, Debi Bernhagen, Emi Uelmen
RSVP:
We need to know that you are coming so please RSVP no later than Tuesday, November 1st to BETH ANDERSON at banderson@csmcorp.net.
Hockey Shop:
Make sure that you stop by our HOCKEY SHOP at the Fall Face Off. Kelly and Debi have some great new items this year. They will make great holiday gifts and stocking stuffers!
Games:
In keeping with the tradition of the Fall Face Off we will once again be hosting the ever popular games! This is your chance to support your kids FAVORITE sport all while bringing out the kid in you, laughing at yourself (and others) and having a great time doing it. For a $20.00 donation/per game you can have the chance to bragging rights as the winner of one or all the following games (let’s face it, hockey parents are fiercely competitive).
Puck-Off Shooting Contest
What the Puck?
The Little Puckers
We will keep you guessing at what these games will involve but trust us they will be fun! If you are interested please contact Beth Anderson at banderson@csmcorp.net. Remember all of the proceeds go back to OYH!
Silent Auction:
Our silent auction is the most successful way for us to raise money at the Fall Face Off. This is a great way to promote your business or if you don’t have a business to promote. Your family could donate a themed basket. It is a great way to support Orono Hockey. We would love for you to donate! If you would like to donate or have any questions please contact SHAWN AUSTED at srausted@gmail.com.
Puck Wall:
This year instead of our traditional “family banner” we are doing a puck wall. For $150.00 you can purchase a puck and put your family’s name, kids name or a special message to your kids wishing them well this season. The puck wall will be displayed inside the arena near the offices. If you would like to purchase a puck or have any questions please contact BARB ANDERSON at barb.anderson68@gmail.com.
Thank you to the Family’s that have already donated to the PUCK WALL!

Old Hockey Sticks:
We are in need of your old hockey sticks. Look through your garage and pull out all of those old sticks that your kids no longer use and donate them to us. We will be using them to construct the Puck Wall, how great for your kids to see their old sticks as part of the arena décor! You can drop them off at the arena where there will put out a box near the concession stand. Once again thanks for your help!
