OYHA is in full swing with evaluations underway for several of our team levels and the others gearing up for their return over the next few weeks. It is an exciting time of year for everyone and we want to wish the best to our players and coaches as well as thank all of our volunteers for their time and commitment during the evaluation process.
A great thanks to all who attended Fall Face Off, although the weather did not cooperate, it was a fun and successful event for our organization. We were able to raise over $90,000! This year the proceeds from this event will go towards increased scholarship funds, keeping registration fees in check, new equipment, paid coaching, and the continued support of the Morrison Ice Arena.

In addition, we would like to extend a big THANK YOU to Burl Oaks Golf Club for hosting us again this year and to Sarah Meier for all of her time and energy to make this such a success!
By the end of October all of our teams will be on the ice and the season will officially be underway. We are excited for a great season for our athletes and families! We look forward to seeing all of you at the rink. Lets play hockey!

Registration has officially closed, but we are still accepting players for Mites, 6U and 8U. If you would like to register for any of these teams, please contact Danni Anderson at OYHA Registration.

Preseason Clinics and Evaluations:
Prior to the official start of the season, preseason clinics will be held to help prepare your skaters for the upcoming evaluation process. Please plan to attend your assigned evaluation time. If there are conflicts, please contact your level rep. The dates of the preseason clinics and scheduled evaluation times can be found on your levels team page on the OYHA Site or by following the links below.
Please have your skaters arrive for clinics at their designated times.

Level Reps:
Level Reps are assigned to assist our team managers throughout the season. The Level Rep will communicate directly with families after teams are formed and until managers have been assigned. If you have questions or concerns you can reach out as needed.

Try Hockey For Free:
OYHA will be participating in the ever popular 'Try Hockey for Free' event this November. We are actively working on scheduling ice time and will send out additional information once the date/time are known.

We are pleased to announce that Hockey Yak will again be supplying the team apparel package. Watch for ordering information soon after team formations.

Coaches Corner:
OYHA is currently looking for qualified coaching applicants for all levels for the boys and girls programs. We are searching for parent/non-parent coaches with passion and dedication for the game and developing young kids on and off the ice.
