Boosters Board

OYHA is a volunteer led organization that is governed by a 9-member Booster Board.  Each member serves a three-year term.  With three of the nine positions being up for election each year.  The Boosters Board runs the business operations of the organization, and is responsible for promoting, sponsoring, and organizing youth hockey in Orono. 

COACHES COMMITTEE

The Coaches Committee or “Coaches Board” is filled by 9 members that are nominated by the Booster’s Board.   With three of the nine positions being up for nomination each year. Individual appointees must have been a registered coach with USA Hockey or MSHSL for at least one of the last three years. The Coaches Committee is responsible for hockey operation items related to all youth Spartan teams.  More specifically, they are responsible for recruiting, retaining, training, and selection of coaches.  They are also responsible for tryouts, evaluations, team placements, and tournaments.
