Britta McGuire
"It is an exciting time to be part of Orono Hockey! Jerseys, new and revamped fundraisers, and the gambling license are just a few of the wonderful initiatives this small but mighty board are working on and I want to be part of that!! I hope that as a board member I can help foster fun, friendships, and a love of hockey for our kids."
Caleb Lee
"I am a team player and have a passion for serving youth in sports. I have numerous experiences as a youth coach and believe that I can offer insight on program and skills development. I would love to add value to OYHA so that kids and parents
have the best experience possible."

Chris Henningsen
"I am passionate about youth sports and the positive impact they can have on our young adults.  Serving on the OYHA Booster Board would allow me to contribute directly to the success and growth of our players and coaches in Orono Hockey. I believe in the importance of providing opportunities for young people to participate in sports, not only for physical health but also for the valuable life skills they learn, such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. If elected to serve on the board I look forward to being held accountable for the fiduciary responsibility to our community, and I can help ensure that our kids, coaches, and parents receive the support and resources they need to thrive, ultimately benefiting our youth and our community as a whole."
Christie Hansen
"I would like to be on the OYHA, because we’re committed to the community, and would like to help anyway we can."
Joanna Tilli
"As a dedicated hockey mom and team manager, I would be valuable on the board for several reasons:
-Great insight into player experience:
I have firsthand experience with the day-to-day operations of a team at three different levels; mite, squirts, and peewee. I have been the team manager for all three levels. I understand the needs and challenges faced by players as well as hockey families.
-Organizational skills:
As a team manager, I have strong organizational skills, which are crucial for managing the logistics of running a successful hockey program. I have been the team manager for 3 travel hockey seasons, as well as 2 teams in one season. I know how to balance time and importance of team tasks.
-Community Connection:
Being actively involved in the teams, I have a strong connection with other parents, players, and community members, which can be beneficial for fostering support and engagement within the hockey community. iv. Advocacy for youth development: I understand the importance of youth development and can advocate for policies and initiatives that prioritize the growth and well-being of young players within the sport.
-Problem-Solving abilities:
Through managing a team, I have encountered various challenges and developed problem-solving skills, which can be applied to addressing issues that arise within the hockey organization."

Kasey Beeler
"I would like to bring my energy, professional experience, and support of Orono hockey to help advance the goals and cause of the OYHA Boosters Board and Association. I am a strong advocate of the Orono community, OYHA, and board work to make a meaningful impact on programs and participants. My child has been a participant in the OYHA for four years and I’ve seen the results and benefits volunteers and the board can bring to the program. I believe that the active engagement of community and program members enriches results, ensures valuable “voice of the customer” is being heard, and allows for growth and advancement of OYHA."
Luke Beltnick
"I’ve been involved in OYHA for three years as a parent and two years as a coach and from that I have gained tremendous respect for the organization and the benefits it provides to kids, families and the community. I played many organized sports growing up but unfortunately hockey wasn’t one of them, therefore my ability to make a meaningful contribution as a coach is limited and will become more so as my kids rise through the program. Being on the Boosters Board will allow me to use my professional background to make an impact by working with the other board members to strengthen and grow OYHA."
