The Orono Youth Hockey Board and The Orono Ice Arena Board along with the High School boys and girls coaches have been working on an effort to improve our ice arena facilities.  A proposal, plans & estimate have been prepared for a project that modernizes and significantly improves the current Orono Ice Arena for all users.  Highlights include:

• Reconfigure the ice to be standard NHL size.
• Build New High School Locker Rooms for both boys & girls teams that include showers, bathrooms and proper ventilation. 
• Mezzanine Level that includes shooting areas, weight training, meeting rooms, study areas for kids, and onsite dryland facilities.
