Call to ALL Orono and Mound Westonka Members – Girls Program Logo/Mascot Rebrand – Action Requested!

The Orono & Mound Westonka hockey boards are pleased to announce that we are spending the off-season time fashioning a new logo and mascot for our united Orono and Mound Westonka girls program!  We plan to launch the new Orono Westonka Girls Hockey team mascot for the 2018 regular season. We are extremely proud of our girl’s program & the partnership we have created, now it is time to create an official brand for our girls.

What do we need from you? If you have a spectacular name and design (logo) idea of a new name for our Orono Westonka Girls Hockey program, please take a minute and submit an entry for consideration. If you only have a sensational name idea, and no design to go along with it, do not be discouraged, please submit the name alone.

The Plan to Launch:

Step 1: Over the next few weeks, we will be collecting submissions from you, our members, to determine a list of options that will be considered. We will be accepting submissions through April 15th.

Step 2: Present the list of options to both the Orono & Mound Westonka boards to determine the top 3 options.

Step 3: Once 3 logos are decided, begin a branding campaign to our members to showcase the 3 options & give members the opportunity to vote the winner.

Step 4: Unveil the winning new mascot for our Orono Westonka Girls Hockey Program!
