OUR VOLUNTEER POLICY
Volunteer Requirement
Each family is required to complete:
- 7 volunteer hours per player
- Maximum of 14 hours per family
Exceptions
- First-year Mite/U8 families new to organized hockey are exempt during their first season.
- Scholarship families are required to complete an additional 15 volunteer hours (22 total).
The volunteer season runs from June 1 through the completion of District and State Tournaments.

Claiming Volunteer Hours
Volunteer opportunities can be claimed through your Crossbar account:

Please remember:
- Families are responsible for claiming their own volunteer opportunities.
- Any family member age 16 or older may volunteer.
- Volunteer jobs must be marked complete in Crossbar to receive credit.
Buyout Option
Families may choose to buy out their volunteer requirement during registration only.
- $700 per player
- Maximum $1,400 per family
Volunteer Policies
- Volunteer hours may not be transferred between families or carried over from season to season.
- Volunteer opportunities may be released up to 7 days before the scheduled shift. Within 7 days, the volunteer is responsible for finding a replacement.
- Families who do not fulfill a scheduled volunteer commitment will be charged $50 per missed hour.
End-of-Season Balances
Families who do not complete their required volunteer hours and did not purchase the buyout option will be charged $125 per unfulfilled hour at the end of the season.
Outstanding volunteer or registration balances must be paid before registering for the following season.
