MITE
This is LEVEL information that will assist in the pre-season process. After teams are rostered, please find your information under TEAMS.
All pre-season events on these schedules will take place at Morrison Arena.
Registration fee
All mites will register and pay a tryout fee of $150. Depending on what level your child is placed in, the difference will be invoiced to your account. You will accept this fee schedule when registering in Crossbar.
We appreciate your partnership and are excited for the growth both the boy's and girl's programs are seeing!

2025 Evaluations
Evaluations will be held
October 11th & 12th from 8:15 am til 1:00 pm.
More information to follow.
NEW TO HOCKEY
- New to Hockey players in Kindergarten or Preschool need not attend evaluations.
- New to Hockey players in first or second grade please send an email to to cbchair@oronohockey.org to discuss which session is best to attend based on the skater's current skating abilities and experience.
EVALUATION PROCESS
M1 & M2 players will be placed with skaters of similar skills and skating abilities to allow for the best experience and growth opportunity.
DAY TWO NOTE: For M1 & M2 players, after the initial day of evaluations, player evaluation assignments may be modified based on evaluators recommendations. If an evaluation assignment changes, you will be contacted directly via email the evening of Day 1 evaluations.
M3 & M4 players will see an adjusted tryout process. More information to follow.
TEAMS

COACHING & VOLUNTEER HOURS
For each mite team coached, your family will receive 7 volunteer hours.
If your coaching requirements are not completed by December 31st and your team manager has not officially rostered you by this date, you will NOT receive volunteer hours for any time coaching.
Please be responsible to complete this information.

NEW TO HOCKEY?
Mite/U8/U6 players new to organized hockey will receive the promotional $150 try hockey fee...try it, we think you'll love it!
